The german gamers have cast their vote: ELEX has won the People's Choice Award (in german: Publikumspreis) at yesterdays German Games Award 2018 (Deutscher Computerspielpreis) in Munich. After The Witcher 3 in 2016 and The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine in 2017, again an Open World RPG has won the award.
ELEX was also nominated for Best Game Design and found a worthy competitor with the marvellous Townsmen VR from german Studio Handygames, that won the price in said category - congratulations!
"The People's Choice Award is the one we cherrish the most, as it marks the appreciation of exactly those people, whom Piranha Bytes make their games for: The gamers." says Florian Emmerich, PR manager at ELEX' Publisher THQ Nordic.
